I don’t know when it happened but sometime over the last decade, Botox became very normal to do in your early twenties. I got married when I was 26 and I think if I had gotten married after 2016, I likely would have already gotten Botox. There is the idea of being preventative (which is very much true) and getting “baby Botox” but it does seem to me that the age of Botox beginning is getting younger and younger. I've certainly dabbled in it and it does exactly what it’s supposed to - smooth out the fine lines and prevent future wrinkles. You look absolutely snatched when you do it and that’s why I have zero judgment around those who do it (and who knows I may one day again!)
But last year I stopped. And here’s why:
